Om mig:
When I was a little girl my Mom asked me what I wanted to be. I told her I wanted to be the president of a small Caribbean Island. I wanted to rule my own small perfect world. I ended up majoring in PoliSci, which did not surprise her. She always thought I should be a journalist because I love to write, or a lawyer because I love to have intellectual, seemingly pointless discussions. I'm still holding out for that island. I've lived in five countries scattered around the Americas, Europe, and Asia, finally coming to the US for college. I've seen some amazing beaches, explored some great city centers, and trekked the hills of tea plantations. I've met the most random, fascinating people by simply striking up small talk that led to hours of conversation. When I think about the people I want with me I keep coming up with semi-contradictions: outgoing but a good listener, active yet contemplative, purposeful but playful, can go out for a night on the town or stay in with blockbusters and books. Oh, and if they haven't traveled far they're at least curious.
