Über mich:

I love anything having to do with water: swimming, boating, fishing, white water rafting, and esp. rainstorms! I love to dance. All types... salsa, argentine tango, ballroom, swing, tap, jazz. Some Eastern ways are fascinating to me... like accupuncture, yoga, and herbal remedies. I love learning about and trying new foods, wines and beers. I do photography as a hobby. I don't know if coffee qualifies as a hobby... but I love finding great coffee houses and buying different kinds of coffees (and teas)! I love trying to get better at Scrabble. I think Edie Izzard is a comic genius. I love to bake and find it extremely relaxing. Love travel, and plan to do more of it. I also love to learn... new things, old things, trying things, discovering more about myself and all that is around me. (My "new thing" of the moment is training for a half marathon with the ultimate goal to compete in NYC's Marathon for 2010!) I'm grounded but with high energy. I believe that for the most part, things really *do* happen for a reason. Even the bad stuff. I believe that everything on this Earth has great energy in it... and how we use our energy for ourselves and unto others is a telling measure of who we are.
