A propos de moi:

I'm also kind of a guy's girl. I play tennis with the guys (b/c most girls I know don't hit the ball hard enough for my liking), I ski when it's blizzard'ing, and I drink dark beer. Making a pilgrimage to the Guinness factory is on my life "To Do" list for sure. I don't take forever to get ready, I don't like to shop, and I got my private pilot's license flying a single engine prop plane at the age of 18. True story about that: after the first time I flew solo, I realized that I could fly the plane no problem, but once I landed, I didn't have the arm strength to push it back into its parking space by myself. Inspired more than a few trips to the gym. I have definitely run across a few misconceptions about what a med student "must" be like, but I have to say they couldn't be farther from the truth. Personality-wise, I'm mellow, low-maintenance and nothing like the characters on Grey's Anatomy (for better or for worse.) For fun, I like to: have an amazing meal (doesn't matter if it's a 5 star restaurant or a hole-in-the-wall as long as the food's good), play tennis in the rain, go skiing when there's no one else on the mountain & bake brownies so I can eat 'em warm. Favorite travel destinations of all time: Bali, Paris, Bryce Canyon // Next on my ideal itinerary: Italy.
