Just moved from South Lake Tahoe to Huntington Beach 8 months ago. Lived up in Tahoe for 8 years. I am not feeling like I am fitting in to So. Cal very well thus far!! I am not a So. Cal girl I guess! Just a transplant trying to fit in! I was born in Kentucky and raised in southern Ohio in farm country. I spent 3 years in the Army as a Military Police Dog Handler just to get my college money. Then went to school to major in Biology and then switched to Nursing. After a few years in nursing, went back to school again to work on a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Bio at UC Irvine! Now currently working in a trauma ICU. Sorry to the guys looking for a woman who can cook....been alone a long time......no fun cooking for just one......so a hot meal for me is usually toast or oatmeal!!! LOL.....I can cook, I just don't do it often ...cooking isn't everything!! But other than that..... Being from the midwest,...I am basically a blue jeans type of girl, but feminine also. I love to get dressed up and go out on the town as much, well maybe not as much, as I love to go camping! I consider myself to be thoughtful and kind, and always try to 'do the right thing'. I hope that any act of kindness will spur another to do the same; the 'pay it forward' concept. I have always been kind of a 'tomboy', but never forget that I am 100% woman at all times! I also love skiing, camping, hiking and river rafting. I don't feel the need to wear makeup at all times, nor do I want a man who wants me to wear it at all times! I have always been into fitness, I am no body builder, but I love staying strong and fit to do the activities that I love. I LOVE new adventures and am trying to enjoy each day for what it offers. Looking for someone also well rounded; One who is friendly, and kind hearted and loves adventure also. I would like to spend time with a man whom I can admire and respect; a man who is polite and respectful to me and others.
