Sobre mim:

I think I would describe myself as sweet, caring, and patient. I can be shy in new situations or big groups, although I try to push through that in order to have fun. For instance, I recently started taking salsa lessons, which is something I might have been too shy to try in the past, but I'm really enjoying it. Once I'm comfortable with my environment and the people I'm with, I'm friendly and love to talk and laugh. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Master's degree in Elementary Education. My specialization was in children's literature, meaning I've now been exposed to tons of kids' books that I want to use in my classroom. I worked in the children's department of the public library for awhile too. I love children and teaching, and I feel so fortunate that I've found a passion that I can translate into a career. Before I was an elementary education major, I spent a year and a half in the architecture program. While I decided it wasn't for me as a career, I'm still very interested in architecture and design. Design can include everything from buildings to books to skirts to spoons, and it's probably why I spent almost half and hour in Target trying to decide what silverware to buy. My favorite movies lately are usually older. I love TCM and AMC. I also like Wes Anderson and Hitchcock. Music: Lately I've been listening to NPR a lot. Not quite music, but I love This American Life. Books: too many to name. TV: Mad Men is awesome.
