I am looking for someone to share life with as a friend, companion and lover. I am into travel - I have been to many fabulous places in the world (Australia, Cambodia, India, Easter Island, Tahiti, Beijing, Egypt, Malta, Istanbul, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Machu Picchu, Mexico, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, etc.) and have a list of other places that I consider a "must see" before I die. I like to dance - when the music moves me, good wine, good food, and listening to good music - mostly 70's rockn'roll, blues, classical, opera, bluegrass and country and just having good fun. I like fast cars, going to car shows, and have been to a few races, etc. I used to do a lot of backpacking and snow sking and want to get back into both (it has only been a few years so hopefully skiing is like riding a bicycle and I still know how although I was never really great at it - just an OK intermediate level - but I love it, nevertheless. I like the water, enjoy boating, just cruisng around the harbour and used to water ski - and would love to learn how to jockey a jet ski now! I am pretty self sufficient in most ways and not into creating a lot of drama. I own a business which has kept me really busy but I now have wonderful employees who carry much of the load. So I now have the time to commit to developing a meaningul relationship if I can find the right person. I enjoy reading, going to the theatre, watching movies - I like sci-fi, cheesy horror movies, good drama, and fantasy - I get plenty of real life everyday! I have 2 sisters and 1 brother that I have always been close to so I family oriented and although I have never had children, I enjoy being aroung other people's children during holidays, family gatherings, etc. I taught high school for the early part of my careet so I can generally relate to younger people and I have a good working relationship with my employees who are of all ages. So It does not sound like I am just some fun loving airhead - becaue I certainly am not - quite the contrary - I am serious about my business and the things in life that truly matter - honesty, integrity, having good core character, maintaining high standards, being responsible, dependable, respectful of, and caring for others, having friends and being a friend, and believing in a higher power. I look much younger than I am - I look after myself, could exercise more but am not overweight and respect myself for who I am.
