A big-picture overview... let's see. I'm someone who's trying to succeed in life, in a lot of categories simultaneously: emotionally, professionally, socially, physically, fiscally, and karmically. I've had a bit of a revelation over the past year. I looked back on my thirties and felt like I really didn't have much to show for them, and that was a pretty lousy feeling. I've discovered a new drive pushing myself to develop on all the fronts above, and joining this site, being social, finding a terrific relationship is part of that. I do my best to see what's really important, especially in difficult situations. I care about contributing to other people and want them to contribute to me. I'm patient emotionally but impatient professionally. I like having people over and being the host; I've had fantasies about being a tour guide, if you can believe it. I'm always looking ahead and constantly curious about what's going to happen next. I'm optimistic, friendly, and very comfortable with my geekiness.
