Is this where we write our life story with all the funny anecdotes and character building experiences? There's not enough room! Ha! Well, we should probably save those for sharing in person so here are the basics. I'm kind, caring, fun, funny at times, fairly quick witted, self-deprecating and I love to laugh. And I've been known to be quite silly at times. I love my friends. And my family is very important to me though they live in different states. They love and support me in everything I do. I love traveling and try to go somewhere new in the world once a year or so. At least in the last few years that's what I've been doing. I love exploring new cultures and walking a new city or town and meeting new people. I recently went back to London and Paris and then on to Dublin and Prague for the first time. I'm heading to Egypt next. When I am home (which is most of the time) I love to cook for friends or a special someone. It's just so much fun to create something and share it and a bottle of wine and then curl up on the couch and talk and connect. I frequent live music venues often as I love listening to different bands, large or small, old or new. I like all sorts of music and there are only a few genres that I will completely pass on. I also enjoy museums and art galleries and events; you never know what an experience will bring you. I love all sorts of foods and enjoy all sorts of dining experiences from four star high-end restaurants to a good greasy spoon. There's a time and place for everything. Same goes for discovering new bars and lounges to hang out in. It all depends on the mood and it's the company that really counts. I love meeting new people and am very comfortable on my own or with a large group. I enjoy witty repartee and lively banter. Basically, I know myself and am comfortable and happy with myself and I'm looking for a guy who is as well. On the flip side, I do love sports. I am a sporty gal. I love watching football especially college. So I can hang in sports bar and yell at the TV with the best of them. But I draw the line at painting myself team colors. That stuff looks like it stains! I also like basketball and baseball and enjoy being active and playing sports as well. And through my Brit friends I'm learning about Futbol (soccer), Rugby and Cricket. In the winter you will find me snowboarding in the mountains. I'm still in intermediate mode, but am improving every year. I enjoy being outdoors hiking and have done a little camping. I also like the beach, but for some reason I like the beaches better...elsewhere. That could be any where I am not living. Though sitting on a So Cal beach is lovely. The beaches on the Caribbean are gorgeous. And the Australian beaches are breathtaking. Water sports are a good time as well. That's a lot so far, so if you want to know more, feel free to ask.
