About me:

To start with I guess you could say that I have led quite the adventurous life, living a combined 17 years in Japan, Russia and Costa Rica. Living abroad so much also afforded me the opportunity to visit over 50 countries. I strongly feel that this exposure to so many different cultures and learning different languages has gone a long way in defining who I am today: an open-minded and caring person who respects people for who they are. I am a very easy going person with a great sense of humor and most definitely enjoy someone with the same. I think I am very good in the kitchen and like cooking my own creations. I also enjoy going out in search of those great hole-in-the-wall and unique restaurants. Thai, Indian, and Japanese food are some of my favorites. My friends would tell you that I am a genuinely nice person who is very social and friendly by nature. I have an awesome family that I love and value. I have always been quite independent, ambitious and entrepreneurial. I am a very honest, passionate and caring person. I enjoy keeping active, whether it be in the form of traveling, outdoor activities, sporting events, etc. From the pics its obvious I love to ski! Hiking, scuba diving, skiing, golfing are some of the other activities I enjoy. With that said, hanging out at home with my feet up and a nice glass of red wine in my hand is not a bad thing either. What do I hope to gain from posting myself on this site? Well, obviously the ideal situation is to find someone special and fall in love. But to me friendships are very important and I value them immensely, so don't be afraid to contact me with this in mind as well.
