About me
About me:
Hey and welcome to my page :) My name is Audra and I am a graduate student at SDSU majoring in Public Administration. In addition to being a student, I also work with autistic kiddos and do promotional modeling. I recently feel as though I was given a second chance to live my life on the right path. I love to learn and am extremely interested in such topics as art, expression and religion. I feel a person can never learn too much and can never be too smart, but the key is modesty. I feel if a person is not learning, then a person is not growing, so I am constantly trying to learn new and exciting things. I don't regret any of my mistakes, or, as Kanye West says, any missed opportunities because had I experienced those things, I wouldn't be who I am today. That being said, I grew up pretty damn fortunate. I have one hell of a mother and I don't know how I became so fortunate to have her in my life. I am the person I am today because of many ups and downs. Although at the time my lows seemed unbearable, I now thank God for them because they all made me stronger, tougher and more able to cope with the world around me. I am a true believer that we all must put in our days work and contribute to the world to the best of our ability. I also believe the most important thing in life is being happy and being a positive factor in those peoples' lives around you. I am an "energy" person. Energy is neither created nor destroyed and I feel we pass energy to one another. Thus, if I am a positive role model to you, I bring with me my positive energy and in turn transfer it to you. That being said, it is also true that we must pick our battles. If someone is trying to pass their negative energy onto us, it is up to us to be the bigger person and not give in. My favorite book in the world is the four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. In it he explains four factors that will make us happy in life. 1. Be true to your word. 2. Don't take anything personally. 3. Don't make assumptions and 4. Always do your best. Live by these rules and see what a difference it makes. Knowledge makes us profound. Never stop learning...
