Hello. Now what can I say to attract your attention that you haven't heard a thousand times before? In all honesty, probably not a lot so I'll just say it how it is and let you decide for yourself. I found myself here quite by accident after seeing a link from another web site and thought...why not? I've tried several different dating sites in the past without too much success, so I've really not got a lot to lose by being here... If I could sum up what I'm looking for in as few words as possible, it would be 'desperately seeking sparkle'. I am 37, separated, with 2 teenage children who are growing up fast and becoming increasingly independent, so I find myself with a lot of time on my hands, particularly weekends. I work for a telecommunications company, which I really enjoy, although it's always a great feeling at 5.30 on a Friday afternoon! I'm very fortunate in that I have some fantastic friends, and I do look forward to the odd night out to catch up and let my hair down...just a little bit! I have been on my own for quite some time now, and I really do miss not having a special someone in my life. I know what I want and what I don't want, and I certainly won't settle for second best. It's the little things I miss the most...someone to cuddle up with on the sofa, or to cook a meal for, receiving those secret text messages that make you smile, late night walks along the beach...just someone to share with. I would describe myself as shy at first, although that soon wears off in the right company, hopefully fun to be with, and with a big heart that really is going to waste! Hopefully you are fun, affectionate, spontaneous and looking for the same as me. If anything I've said appeals to you, please stop and say hello - I may just be able to put a smile on your face...
