About Me For a writer, this is a very daunting task! I don't have any expectations from the site - hopes yes - I am here because you just never know. And because it's hard to meet people when all your friends are married with children and don't know anyone else who's single! How would I describe myself? I am a travel fanatic who loves to laugh. Two years ago, I returned to Canada after 8 years living abroad and am looking to connect with guys near my own age in Calgary. I'm very active and keep busy but I know how to laze about when the situation calls for it. I love water and any sports associated with it. The coolest thing I've ever done is swim with a whale shark in Australia, and the scariest was sky diving in New Zealand. For fun in my normal life - I am just as happy staying home watching DVD's as I am dancing all night. I love to explore - whether it is nightclubs or museums. I love music, I mean really love music, and books. I've chosen Dating as what I'm looking for, but I don't think you ever really know what you are looking for until you meet the person. Ideally, I'm hoping to find the love of my life, someone who can't stand to be without me and vice versa...I'm not looking for Mr. Right - just looking for a normal guy, but someone who I think is extraordinary.
