About me:

Professionally....I am an academic who is pursuing changes to environmental and natural resource policies (specifically water) at the highest political level. I am doing this via my Graduate School education at a top western Canadian university. Personally...I am a woman who has waited to find the right man, so I have never been married. I have experimented in the past with living with a partner, however. Lessons were learned and I am better for it!!! I am a gem awaiting to be uncovered: I am a unique young woman, who is very self-aware, compassionate, understanding, intelligent, expressive, and giving. I am deeply concerned about this planet and our future, and I think we all deserve happiness, no matter colour or creed. I like to experience the fulfillment that comes from helping others, but I don't let others take advantage of me. Also, I do not tolerate superficial or self-centered people in my close circle. BUT.....Aside from seeming quite serious here, I am a fun person, playful, and extremely sensual too!! I am quite complex and will challenge you...a man looking for a simple girl who will accept any opinions he has, without good reasons, won't be able to handle me! I am not difficult, I will just keep you on your toes, and you'll be better for it!! In conversation, I might say something wise, profound, and empowering one minute - then spit out a humorous, slightly crude, or goofy comment next. Reason is : I think we need to be extremely aware and deliberate in our lives, but not take it all too seriously. What is really important to me is mutual acceptance with a relationship so we can be ourselves. Its the greatest gift you can give another person, but one of the most difficult because it requires self-acceptance at the same time! Are you ready to witness, explore, question, and be in awe of this journey with a systems-thinking companion? Lastly, I want to make comment about the concept of wealth: I am rich in love and passion! I hope you are too. This is ultimately the type of currency I am looking for, because I prefer the type of happiness that lasts!!
