About me:

I'm a warm hearted, fun loving, sociable person looking to meet new friends and maybe more. I have a strong creative streak and I'm always looking for the different angle which explains both my old career (in marketing) and my new vocation (as a complementary therapist) and my newish hobby - photography. For me ticking all those drop down menus is torture! I hate being pigeon holed and don't like to do it to others, I like to be open minded to new ideas and possibilities and it seems wrong to rule something or someone out on the strength of a couple of words or one idea. I'm definitely a glass half full kinda girl and will always look for the positive even in the bleakest of situations. I have a great network of friends but would really enjoy some male company, intelligent conversation with lots of lively banter that can fall into a comfortable silence. I like to live healthily but enjoy a good glass of red too, there's merit in the phrase a little of what you fancy does you good. I love dancing and go to salsa lessons in Milton Keynes, which is great fun although sometimes agony on the toes! I'm not a culture vulture but I do love exploring the world, ancient temples, remote landscapes, bustling cities, wildlife, exotic food... It seems that everyone's hobby is a DVD and glass of wine. I love films but more Casino Royale than love story, more hot fuzz than American Pie.. I've never had children but respect those that have, especially father's who are active in their child(rens) lives.
