About me:
I am Damini Pasbola I am a person who cares for people and think and hope to improve the quality of life in general. I am a motivated engineer, intelligent and diligent, an excellent team player, keen on challenges, self- motivated, innovative and a lateral thinker. I have expanded my capacity for highly technical and analytical thinking by growing in the fields related to STEM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). I have taken certifications in Computer Aided Manufacturing (2007-2008) and Computer Aided Drafting(2006-2007) from City College of San Francisco. Additionally I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelors) and a Masters in Aeronautics. I have worked as a Teaching & Research Assistant with Aerospace engineering Department with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. I have also worked as a Research Associate with the Mechanical Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. Reading my father's Mathematics books (who is a graduate in science in addition to a Law degree) while I was growing up made me interested in Mathematics. Great teachers, which I had in the schools during that phase (class 10th to 12th) and their encouragement made me opt for engineering as a field. While growing in the field I learned to turn ideas into reality by applying the principles of Science and Technology to research and design. I also learned that getting any product designed is a result of the team efforts that bring together the engineer's skills and technical expertise. Hence I have developed great people's skill. I was also a successful manager for 9 years wherein I capably took care of management functions in companies manufacturing Ordnances and Optoelectronic devices.
