I'm old enough to know what I don't want. At this point in my life, that's more important than knowing what I want sometimes. That being said, I think I know what I want. Overall, I'd be happy to meet someone to spend time with and share the ups and downs (mostly the ups). I can be serious and playful and would like to meet someone who isn't afraid of having an adult conversation every now and again. More importantly, I want someone who doesn't take life too seriously so that energy can rub off on me a little. I'd like to meet someone who isn't intimidated by a strong woman. I'd really like a man in my life to share things with but I don't need it. That sort of thing is earned over time. I find it very presumptuous of anyone who expects another person to give everything up for their partner before they've earned that sort of trust and respect. I can be quirky and silly. As a matter of fact, I think it's important to let yourself go there every now and again. I like to socialize but I'm not much for the bar scene. There isn't much I don't like to do and I'm always eager to meet someone who challenges me to try new things. I enjoy laughing, travel, music, golf, singing, hosting dinner parties, reading and being near/on the water. As a matter of fact, I hope to live on or have a cottage on a lake. I own my own home which I worked very hard for and I'm very proud of that. There's so much more to me but that's true of everyone. Let's just get to know one another and go from there.
