About me:

An Australian who is now calling Calgary home. I love to wine and dine and will try pretty much anything once! Fun-loving and cute, you can't go wrong. I have lived in London, UK for 18 months and had an amazing experience there which allowed me to travel across Europe and I've been to some pretty amazing places. All that has done is make me want to see more of the world and now South America, Africa and a whole other bunch of places are on my list. Traveling has also made me more patriotic and I can't wait to head home and see what is in my own backyard. I get bored very easily and need to be stimulated - I find that when I don't have anything to do I am easily distracted and find it hard to remain focused, however, when I am busy there is no stopping me. Theatre is a passion of mine and I love to go see a good musical or production - something I really enjoyed whilst in London. Some of my all time favorite things to do are going to a park and swinging on swings - I love the rush you get from being high in the sky. It's great. I also love to blow bubbles - I am really a big kid at heart (hence why I am a teacher!) and love doing random things that most people would consider I am too 'old' to be doing. Thunderstorms are amazing and I used to love driving to the beach near my house back in Melbourne and watching the darkness of the storm. The power and beauty of it never failed to amaze me. I take pleasure in the simple things and sun and summer have a way of making me feel as carefree as a butterfly. Recently I bought a pair of roller blades as I live downtown right by the river so am excited (and scared) to start roller blading again! I haven't been blading in years so am a little worried but it will be fun. I also like to play tennis. Both I enjoy but both I am not so great at! But, I figure, as long as you're having fun who cares, right? I love all kinds of movies - comedies, chick flicks, thrillers, etc but I am not so much a fan of sci-fi (I have to be in the mood to watch them and I don't get the urge all that often). Music choices are varied, I listen mostly to pop, electronica and oldies... whatever really. I suck at anything musical so I just like something I can sing / dance to! So, hopefully this gives you a bit of insight into me. Any other questions, just ask!
