My friends say I am motivated, a great Mum, thoughtful, generous and fun, and sometimes a bit of a nut. I find somewhere I love then have to take everyone there to share it with them! I have travelled to Europe, America, Canada, Egypt and the Caribbean. I lived in Canada for 4 years,-40c got a bit hard to cope with, so I ran back home to the beautiful Aussie beaches and thawed out. My ideal holiday would be at the beach, either camping in a 4WD with all the gear, or in a beautiful 5 star hotel or unit / house on the beach. Throw in breaky with pancakes maple syrup and bacon and a massage and I am in heaven. I do love music, but half the time have no idea what I am listening to. So long as it is upbeat, R&B I think? Joss Stone, Nora Jones, Madonna, Beonce. No soppy love songs though.I DO like romance but in surprises and thoughtful gestures. I love going out for a great dinner, but am happy to stay at home too, snuggling up with take out Indian or Thia and a DVD or I cook a mean roast chook and veges. Family and friends are very important. I see my friends a lot.My family live close by too, we aren't in each others pockets though. I have a 2 and 1/2 yr old Daughter who is the most cherished person in my life.She amazes me every day with her antics. I like swimming when I have time, a great spa massage. The Wallabies & a live grand final occassionally. AFL is a winner too, great arms on those guys! I have worked in Fashion, Telco, Packaging, and Oil industries, am an Interior Designer as my passion when I have time. I have an on line homewares business finally after a year of working ont he web site!! I believe in work life balance, life is too short to work all the time, and what ever work I do, I always love and am passionate about. I love reading when I have the time. Escapism fiction. Danielle Steel, Barbara Taylor Bradford. I loved the Geisha, Chicken Soup for the soul, and Hawaii. All very different I know. Usually just give me a few interior home wares Mags and I am lost for hours! I saw Marley and Me recently and laughed so hard, then cried! As if Jennifer Anniston is still that hot! I only get to watch TV at night for a short time but make the most of it. Yes I watch Home and Away eek, and Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy! Great mindless shows :) has to be done. I played a lot of sport at school particularly swimming. Not having much time to do this now, I don't mind watching the Tennis, and the Wallabies, or going to a live game is fantastic so much better than TV. Cricket is a no goer though, so is golf, can't see the point of those games.? I love Interior Design and the building industry in general. My whole family was in the building industry and for some reason I love being on the building sites with all the action and the Tradies. Visits to the art gallery are occassional but of great interest.
