About me:

I am looking for someone to share my life and experiences with, for that true connection. Soul mate..... I love to explore new people and places. I love to travel and have been to 42 islands over the last 10 years. I have been on a quest, looking for that place to get out of the cold. I found it on a tiny island called Monsterrat where I have had my winter home for the last 5 yrs. But this yr I sold my home in Canada and moved lock stock and barrel to see what island life is like. I can always move back but I just did not want to go to my grave wishing I would of.... I say I have retired because sold my business (a day spa) in Saskatoon SK. Canada and now just do what I want to do to keep my mind and soul content. Montserrat is 25 miles off the coast of Antigua where life is simple and community is strong. Needed to get out of the rate race and try a simpler life for a while any way. I have been flipping villas on island to keep myself entertained and am developing a small resort and spa called miles away villa which will be completed soon I hope. Just working on the advertising and website is up (not done yet but up). My plans are to build up the business and sell. I love to build (anything) but get board when there is not enough challenge. I believe that: Life begins at the end of your Comfort Zone. I was raised on the farm, lived in the city and then to get out of the cold I turned into a snow bird for the winter. I love the sun, sea and sand, it renews me. I have lived the rat race, now just want to enjoy life. Have been retired for a 2yrs and now just doing what I want. I also have been working on a small condo development for the last year trying to find the right piece of land, no luck so far. What I have learnt, the hard way.... I believe it is only when we have the courage to face things exactly as they are, without any self-deception or illusion, that a light will develop out of events, by which the path to success may be recognized. Happiness is allowing yourself to be okay with what is, rather than wishing for, and bemoaning, what is not. Obviously, what is is what is supposed to be, or it would not be. The rest is just you, arguing with life. Somewhere along the way you will have to learn to just Trust Life. But trust me it is hard to always remember. I LOVE to dance (Reggae, Soca), meet new people, see new places, love the sea/ocean and having someone to do these things with. I want a partner, equal in every way to share my life with. I am missing city life, good restaurants, shopping and Costco. lol
