About me:

I?m a jocose storyteller, armchair philosopher, and gentleman scholar. I?ve traveled to multiple countries on 5 continents, and most of the 50 states. I?ve lived under third world conditions and collaborated on artistic and humanitarian ventures both stateside and abroad. My interests are typical?theatre, literature, art, travel, music, dance, reading, history, writing, film, outdoors activities, but I lean a great deal to the atypical...continued learning...never stop, coffee shops and pubs with incredible atmosphere, searching for the perfect chicken salad sandwich, walking aimlessly through the city, making lists in my little black moleskine, the art and practice of cooking, shooting rubber-bands out open windows? or into the back of co-workers heads, playing in the park or an open fire hydrant, sitting and pondering, writing with fountain pens, Balvenie? neat with a touch of water? I like lots of stuff?some of its cool, some of its lame?I spend an inordinate amount of time with my journal, pen, and a quality cup of coffee. I?m a voracious reader... love it. I spent years with the classics, but the last few books I?ve read contained a horn dog vampire that dreams of being a writer... Biff, the raunchy best friend of Jesus, who happens to be a martial arts expert with the ability to make explosives and who also invented the "Latte", a magazine editor turned chef that waxes eloquent about the art of cutting the carrot...and a Shel Silverstein poem about bed wetting... I?m a movie junkie? I had a theatre teacher in Jr. high that once said..."Theatre is life, Film is art, and Television is furniture..." My opinion on this matter changes with the weather and the basketball season.
