About me:
I am an easy going person with a good sense of humor. I certainly do not mind working hard when I have to, but I like to enjoy life at the same time. In terms of what I like to do outside of work, well back home I played a lot of tennis and golf which is difficult to do here in Manhattan. Therefore, the logical next step is to take up skiing. For me the ideal ski vacation consists of great snow and terrain, but I also place almost equal emphasis on apres ski activities such as places which have plenty of good food and wine options. During the past eight years I have experienced snow at close quarters in Chile, Argentina, Japan, France, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, NZ, Utah, Colorado, and Vermont. Alta in Utah is my favorite resort in North America so far. I like playing most sports, but getting me to the gym can be somewhat of a major undertaking because I find it rather boring. Therefore, I ride my bike a lot to compensate. Here in the city I enjoy exploring and finding new restaurants and bars in different neighborhoods near where I live down town. I am really into good food and wine, although not to the point of being a snob - a burger, fries and beer at the Corner Bistro is definitely okay in my book. I certainly do not set the world on fire in the kitchen ? no pun intended. However, I aspire to one day ? be a reasonable cook that is. I like going to the movies and concerts. I also enjoy going to the theater and taking in the odd art exhibition. I enjoy watching/playing sports such as tennis and golf, riding my bike, going to movies and for a guy dare I say it - shopping!
