About me:
I am of the opinion that innovation and out of the box thinking is needed to solve many off society's most pressing problems. The Global financial meltdown, the looming energy crises and the wholesale plundering of natural resources coupled with environmental degradation are issues that we cannot hide from, much as we may want to. I am a prolific reader, mostly non-fiction, with the occasional best seller novel, if I connect with the author and or story line. Introspective, thoughtful and fairly knowledgeable about most mainstream topics and yes, lets say upfront, I do... have my 'blond moments' from time to time, but then don't we all. Glitz and glamour certainly have their place and I enjoy a good party from time to time. I have somewhat of a dry, offbeat sense of humour, always charming and witty... and when I'm on a roll, hang on tight! My hobbies and interests are broad and range from Art and Architecture, Sustainable Development, environmentally friendly 'Green' building, organic gardening and anything to do with computing or the internet to the more esoteric topics such as the martial art Aikido and Kenjitsu as well as feudal Japanese Samurai culture. Lifestyle choices. I love preparing and cooking good food, prefer healthy eating choices, a balanced fitness regime with the occasional binge thrown into the mix. I have always loved the sea and surf, camping outdoors, mountains and those wide-open spaces more than the 101 ball sports most men are attracted to nowadays. Last but not least - I have weakness for loud American motorcycles and German sports cars.
