About me:

I'm very low maintenance and am open to most things whether it's taking a spontaneous road trip to another city or just sitting at home on the couch with a good movie and some wine. I can never take a serious photo. I love to go out and have fun and not care what people think. I'm also an Internet junkie and I spend maybe a little too much time on Wikipedia. I know this sounds cliche, but my close friends mean everything to me even though a lot of them are scattered throughout the world. For fun I like trying out new recipes. Lounging in my pj's watching a good movie. Cuddling up in bed with a good book. Walking around a new part of the city. Socializing with my best friends. Pretty typical. Any new ethnic cuisine but I love sushi. I own way too many things that are purple. I have a strange obsession with yellow rubber ducks. Wow, all we need now is the glass of wine... which I must add I do really enjoy. I have some favorites including bubbles but I like red blends and zins and enjoy a nice cold sauv blanc on a hot day. I try to watch what I eat to stay in good shape but also for good health. I am a vegetarian but I do enjoy seafood so I'm not vegan. I like preparing healthy meals and experimenting and trying new-to-me dishes and my favorite indulgence is a nice peice of dark chocolate with glass of red wine or bubbles ;-) Originally I'm from Vancouver, Canada, so yes, I can ice skate and triple sow cows and triple toe loops have been in my repitoire. Now in this warmer weather, I like to get out for a run in the morning, stretch it out in the yoga studio, bike ride and mix it up with circuit training.
