I enjoy dining out at interesting restaurants with great company. It can be like a brief trip to another country. I love the give and take of a good conversation and the exhilaration of shared ideas. I grew up with three older sisters and am comfortable around women although I am the youngest and I might be an itsy bit spoiled. My idea of a great first date includes dinner, conversation, coffee, holding hands, a sweet goodnight kiss (and waking the next morning intertwined in each others bodies, OK, so I reveal myself a typical male) and leaving with the excitement of meeting someone you can't wait to see again. It's not original, I know, but if the connection is there the date will be ideal. Smart, funny, polite, good listener and good talker--what's not to like? I believe that what happens to us is a combination of what we choose and some luck and coincidence. Once people get to know me they always ask why I don't have a girlfriend. It's probably because I come across as a bit quite at first just because I'm a good listener and more interested in other people than talking about myself constantly. Once there's a connection, which is obvious pretty quickly, I full of sparkling insight. I can also be a bit of a smartass but in a playful way. If you can take that and give it back we'll get along great.I'm an easy going, polite, respectful guy who likes to treat a lady like a lady and knows that romance is not just for Valentine's Day. I'm always learning and place a high value on curiosity and the ability to have a smart, witty conversation once in a while. Honesty and open mindedness are two qualities that are important to me and the people I want to be around. I'm well adjusted, balanced, mentally stable, and always try find the silver lining. I'm bright and goal-oriented--I've got my act together but still don't take myself too seriously and any of my ex-girlfriends would have great things to say about me.I can go on a vacation without needing everything (or anything) to be planned out. I'm flexible and open to anything spontaneous and can make a decision about what we should do tonight and what restaurant to go to. Affectionate, playful, serious, appreciative, not conservative, not set-in-my-ways, and always willing to make time for people in my life.I'd like someone who has a similar approach to life: adventurous but not too wild, bright, polite, curious, playful, fun, not stressed-out all the time, but not 100% wholesome either.I enjoy traveling, going out for dinner
