About me:

I am a pretty low key, low maintenance type of person who prefers an equal relationship with another who is willing and able to give and receive. Shared interests, outlook and energy level are important. However, having your own identity is equally important. That said, I can be full of contradiction and complexity, hopefully, like you, as I enjoy being able to change my mind about the world as I learn more about it. Some days I like to be the center of attention and other days I am happy to go with the flow or fade into the woodwork. I have been in relationships for long periods and short and choose to remember the good and try to learn from what wasn't and move on. I am very open and close with my friends since I do not have much of a family anymore. I am a huge consumer of information - journals for work to news and politics to TMZ. I also like learning about anything and everything - kind of a dilettante - but in some areas, watch out! Basically, I like to know what is up - it would be great to meet someone who knows about things I don't and share. I am employed (seems to be something people want to know) and happily so. I am currently a computer scientist (...insert sound of crickets here...LOL) which sometimes turns people off for some reason.
