About me:

my friends describe me as the perennial "nice guy:" loyal, caring, and fun to be around. My family and friends are extremely important in my life. My philosophy - life may not be fair, but we should live as if we believe it is. Eight years ago I left the business world and became a high school math teacher (I know - ugh! But it's really not that bad.) Definitely the right decision for me - I finally enjoy waking up and look forward to work every morning! I know I've found my calling. My personal quirks: I'm a hopeless romantic and I love country music. I go country dancing at least once a week. On top of that, I like to be outdoors (hiking, roller blading, tennis, anything that keeps me active). I help coach soccer and softball at the private school where I teach. I also like going to movies and plays, or spending time at home cooking dinner and watching something on TV. I'm a few pounds over what I'd like to be right now, but I'm working on that.I try to workout 5-6 times/week, but sometimes my school schedule gets in the way. Who ever said teaching was an 8-3 job never tried it! My favorite hot spots are The Hollywood Bowl, Montana's, the beach in the morning, the mountains (preferably with a lake nearby). I'd love to visit Australia.
