About me:

I'm old fashioned. I believe in chivalry, but I also believe in pulling my own weight. I love being wined and dined, however, I enjoy returning the favor. I like being around people who force me to step out of my comfort zone. I don't often venture out to new things on my own; but when I do find myself experiencing new adventures, I usually adapt pretty quickly and always end up having a good time. I really enjoy being around creative types who help me see life from a perspective much different from my own. I enjoy spending time with friends; whether it's grabbing a bite to eat or going for drinks at a local bar. I also love spending time at home and listening to music and just relaxing. I love Seattle. I have fantasies of traipsing around Paris and experiencing all of the French food, people and architecture. I love squishing my bare feet into the sand at the beach; coming home after work, turning the music up to full blast &; dancing my heart out; the feeling of butterflies in my stomach when holding hands with someone for the 1st time. I'm not afraid of challenges and cherish the moments when I succeed at overcoming obstacles in life. I'm educated, assertive, passionate and fully capable of independent living and personal success but would like to share the fun in life with someone special. I'm a huge animal lover and cannot live my life without them. I don't have a farm-full of pets or anything-just one cat who is like a child to me. (And speaking of children, I prefer someone who is interested in having one someday but doesn't already have several of their own!). I enjoy traveling-especially once I can put aside that nagging phobia of flying. I was born and raised in Western Canada and have lived in the States for 13 years-mainly in Texas and Tennessee. I believe there is humor to be found in almost everything and have a great appreciation for clever sarcasm. The most important things in life are family, friends/loved ones and my health.
