About me:

I was born and raised in the Midwest, so I make sure to bring those values and attitudes with me wherever I go. I like meat and eat it frequently, but have learned to savor sprouts and avocados! I miss fall foliage and the dramatic seasons, but remember how great SoCal is when my parents are shoveling out of 5' of snow! I am close with my family and they continue to be an important part of my life. I despise drama and games. I am a big girl, I can take it! :) I am not a gym buff, but prefer to get my exercise doing activities outside. I like to occasionally watch hockey and soccer, but I must admit, I don't follow any sports teams religiously. I enjoy most any water sports, going camping in the mountains (LOVE the fresh mountain air) and taking walks or rollerblading on the beach. I play on a co-ed soccer league two days a week and I am trying to get back into the sailing scene after taking a few years off. I... don't watch much TV, love to read, don't cook well (working on that), am becoming somewhat of a minimalist, am a bit of a neat freak, love naps, cherish lazy Sundays, like spontaneity, am self-reliant and low maintenance, and I indulge in peanut butter cup ice cream every chance I get (my Achilles heel!). For fun I... am improving my surfing skills, love to sail, roller-blade, read, kayak, camp, hike, take drives on winding roads, snow/water ski, and search for new adventures!
