About me:
I like to get outside and feel a bit restless when I don't. I enjoy going out to catch a band, have seen a lot of shows, and try to tear up my mountain bike and my downhill skis when I get the chance. I like to host and I enjoy groups of people, especially making people laugh. I tell a lot of stories, too many probably (but they are all true). Sometimes I think I am living out song lyrics. I am going to get back into cooking after a bit of a sabbatical. I prefer to camp on road trips, if the weather suits, or stay with people I know. Not because I am cheap but b/c I think it is more fun. OK I sometimes get a hotel :) I really enjoy going to watch live music. I like to try new things, maybe buy a packraft so I can get into some whitewater, mountain biking, bagging peaks, small projects, downhill skiing, sitting by a fire. The beach now that I am in SD. My favorite things :Dry humor, new situations, technology, good outdoor gear, witty people, learning new things, roadtrip to a new destination, good night's sleep in a tent, Family Guy episodes, tailgating, midwest fall, calm before the storm, and coastal Alaska, reunions with old friends, SNL skits '91-'95, Tobacco Root Mountains in MT, southern UT, Patagonia gear, having something to look forward to, the "experience", not the word ?bailout?, music festivals, grapenuts, aisle seats, fresh sockeye, cutting and pasting, water sports, Smart Wool socks but flops and Sanuks now, vitamin supplements, Indian/Asian/Thai/Vietnamese food, effective organization, local grown produce, the right tool for the job, snorkeling, my parent's property, my iPod and iPhone, superfoods, showing people new adventures, lighting fuse and getting away, naps but not going to bed, to-do lists, wildlife viewing, sunrise, craigslist, conspiracy theories, and eating re-called peanut butter products.
