About me:

An American doctoral student in History who has relocated to the UK for educational purposes. Already have one (successful, college attending) child which I raised as a single mother and not really wanting any more but rather wanting to enjoy life and finally meet someone who will treat me well and have a great time with where ever life takes us. I love to travel and study history in all forms so he must enjoy culture as well as water sports or anything involving water - cruises, boating, fishing, etc. I also enjoy skiing and would love to try hang gliding someday. Fun but classy, I am able to go from horseback to 5 star restaurant in one day with ease. I am still a new member with limited access so please don't be put-off if I can't answer any messages as yet. I hope to upgrade when funding arrives. I've been accepted to present a paper to the RSA at their conference in Venice next year which is wonderful as I've never been to Italy before.
