About me:

I'm hard working, loyal, easy to get along with, a great friend, educated, and well-traveled. I have fun remodeling my home (so far yards, bathroom, office, and soon to be kitchen), making my nephew giggle, and getting some form of daily exercise (walks, gym, bike ride). I am passionate about living my life the way God desires. There is great peace, hope, and happiness that comes with following his plan for my life. I would want my future partner to share this perspective with me. Good conversations and quality time with family and friends are energizing. I love practicing my Spanish, dreaming of my next vacation, and getting outside to enjoy the day. Laughing is important and it's not hard to find something funny one of my students does each day in my classroom. I consider being a teacher a privilege and I love the opportunity to help my students and make a difference in their lives. I love this quote, "I just love to smile. Smiling's my favorite!" Can you guess which movie that's from? I enjoy helping people around me enjoy life and the beauty of our world. I feel joyful during good conversations and happy when I am able to do something special for someone else. My friends say I'm a good encourager and make everyone feel comfortable. I love to travel & enjoy life and the memories made with good family and friends. I?ve been blessed to have so many amazing opportunities (thanks to my grandpa who, by the way, made a bet one time with Al Capone). Traveling to 14 countries has left me with an open perspective and amazing recollections: painting by a canal in Venice, bringing in the new year at Trafalgar Square in London, water skiing from a private boat in Mexico, visiting a friend teaching English in Hungary, listening to the mariachis wake us up on a mission trip in Guatemala, surfing long waves in Hawaii, taking my grandpa to high tea at the Empress in Canada, getting lost with my sister in a paddle boat on Lake Lugano in Italy when we were kids, dodging whole chickens hanging at a local market in Africa?the list goes on.
