About me:

I live between Vegas and Miami, and love both; in Vegas right now it's dryer ;) I grew up watching reruns of Monty Python's Flying Circus and Ernie Kovacs on PBS on Sunday nights with my brother, so I have a pretty warped sense of humor. I'm originally from Chicago suburbs, usually go back once a year to visit family and friends. I love music, from pop to jazz to classical - seems like I go to at least one concert a month. I also like great movies, especially ones with a good twist - tend to see more indies and foreign films than your average moviegoer, and less megabudget blockbusters. Ran my first marathon in 2003 to see if I could do it. Liked it so much that I ran 5 more, with another one coming up in Oct 2007. I love running and marathons. Have a lot of DVDs and way too many CDs, mostly pop and rock - usually catch at least 1 concert a month. Any movie with Edward Norton or Robert DeNiro. Enjoy baking for friends and family. Playing my guitars. Favorite movies include Brazil, Lawrence of Arabia, Shawshank Redemption, Being John Malkovich. Love Good Eats on Food Network, funny and informative at the same time. Anything written by Harlan Ellison or William Goldman is always entertaining.
