NOTE : as I've been heartbroken in the past by a long distance relationship, I'm really wondering if I should stay on this web site, since there doesn't seem to be anybody from my hometown, which is Montreal, Qc, Canada. Why should I risk falling in love with somebody who lives far far away?... Besides, although my kids are perfectly bilingual, my sister and my parents speak very but I mean VERY little English... I don't know... still thinking... ;-) Please don't forget my first language is French! So let's see... where to begin... I'm as much at ease in an evening gown, on a horse or in hiking boots. I'm not easily scared, as a couple of years ago, went to hike a mountain all by myself for a couple of hours, in the middle of the wilderness of Yukon. I think that says a lot about my personnality. I am a strong woman, yet very sensitive to my partner's needs and very supportive. Although I can take very good care of myself and very happy with my life, I'm a one man woman and thinks that the pleasures of life are doubled when you can share them with the right person for you... I might look though on the outside (defense mecanism), but really am a marshmallow on the inside! I'm seeking what I can offer... understanding, respect, faithfulness, intelligence, openess and don't like "routine". Living a healthy lifestyle is VERY IMPORTANT to me and I don't eat junk food and you will never find soft drinks in my fridge! Staying fit and exercising regularly is also part of my lifestyle, as I want to grow old... well healthy and not become a burden for anyone... Because I'm so energetic and dynamic, I tend attract and be attracted to younger men than me but hey! age is only a number on a birth certificate and the way I see it, shared interests and common tastes are far more important. Finally, I beleive that a relationship has a good chance of success if it has the right balance between similarities (to do stuff together) and differences (to learn from each other and grow as a person).
