About me:
I love music so much, yet lack the talent to play any instruments, I started my own Internet radio station -- rock, country, jazz, R&B, oldies, musicals, opera, bluegrass, etc. It started out as something just for myself and it's grown into a station that's listened to around the world. It's exciting to bring joy to so many people. Sports are a huge part of my life, especially hockey and football. I'm thrilled the Pittsburgh Penguins won the 2009 Stanley Cup! Now, it's my Chiefs turn to do something exciting in football this year. I like the direction the team has gone by bringing in so much talent and management from New England. I expect good things to come! --- Update --- What the heck was I thinking? The Chiefs? I'm so glad I'm in fantasy football. At least that's interesting. Over the past several months, I've become more involved with charity/non-profit work. I'm a class rep for my high school alumni association. I partnered with a group to write to deployed soldiers and send them care packages regularly. And through my business, I've started helping groups with their fundraising efforts. Right now, I'm working especially closely with 2 groups -- a memorial fund for a fallen firefighter that benefits burn victims and an association that assists wildfire firefighters with job placement, workplace dispute resolution, support for families of fallen firefighters and more. Both are new campaigns, but I expect them to do very well. Once these start to grow, I have plans for assisting additional groups too. Lastly, thank you to those of you that recently emailed me. I did let my membership lapse, so I'm not able to read or reply to emails here. If you're really interested, my radio station's not difficult to find. You'll think of something. ;-)
