I'm originally from upstate NY and have lived here in the bay area for almost 7 years. San Francisco has really become my second home. I love checking out all the different events and restaurants here in the city. It's nice to take time out though and just relax at the beach, park or enjoy a home cooked meal and movie at home. I've always been very motivated in pursuing a career that I'm passionate about, but definitely in also making the time to spend with family and friends. I've been able to find a pretty good balance between work, and taking time to enjoy life and share it with the people I care about.I like getting the chance to get outside the city for a hike or camping. Just hanging out with friends especially over at Dolores park is perfect on a sunny day. I like going to see the Sharks play, or in the spring watching college basketball.My favorite place is my family's cottage in Ontario Canada. I love traveling though and would love to go back to visit Italy. My next big trip I'm hoping to be a volunteering vacation in maybe Kenya, India or Guatemala.Brenda's on Polk is always amazing. Also, the ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream at Park Chow is one of my favorites. Museums, concerts, hole in the wall places, a game (recently started going to the Bay area roller derby girls' games)...
