I am an honest and open person, laid back, but sometimes the Jersey girl in me will call your bluff. I am a good listener and communicator, independent and well-balanced. I laugh and smile a lot. Although my family lives 3000 miles away, they are very important to me, as are all of the friends I've made over the years. I love what I do for a living and feel really lucky to live in such a beautiful place and have a great job. I try to remind myself just how lucky I am every day. I like to be outside. I care a lot about the environment and am conscious about my impact on the world, socially and environmentally. Traveling to new places and immersing myself in the culture is the best part of traveling. My most recent travels took me to India, and now I know that if I can just go with the flow there and enjoy it, I can travel anywhere! I'm the eternal optimist who gives people the benefit of the doubt. Even though that means I sometimes get disappointed by people, I still have faith that things happen for a reason and that I will eventually meet the right guy. When I say that I'm going to do something, I do, and I expect the same of my partner. I like Jog on the beach, yoga, hike, camp, dinner with friends, find new music that I love and over-play it in the car and on my ipod, read, talk politics, play softball, travel, paint, gardening, wine tasting, farmers markets, going to a ballgame (Mets!). My Favourite things are : The ocean, the forest, NPR, flip-flops, my friends and family, smoothies, fresh berries, warm tea on a cold morning, coconut water straight from the young coconut, dumb movies that make me laugh, or good ones that make me cry...
