About me:

I love so many things in life. The most important parts of my life are my family and friends. My passions are music, books (history, politics, literature, philosophy, and poetry), TRAVEL (someone with an overwhelming passion to see everything in the world they can is pretty important...), movies, and stimulating discussion/debate. I'm up for anything at this point in my life, and basically trying to soak up all that I can! I can be goofy and gregarious, or serious and intellectual. I love new things and places and also enjoying my friends and family. My friends are people who challenge me intellectually, but are not afraid to have fun and embrace life, to let their guard down. I gravitate toward people with whom I can discuss everything from Plotinus to Heschel, Homer to Bukowski and Heaney, Rodin to Klimt, and Bach to Neutral Milk Hotel. (Not that everyone must have my exact interests, but you learn from one another!) A perfect day is spent in so many ways: hanging out with loved ones, listening to a new band or seeing a new art museum, just wandering around town and discovering a new spot or person or cozy boutique, or hopping in a car for a road trip. I love generosity of spirit and yourself, people committed to self-improvement. I love dennett, hillesum, wilde, austen, sebold, dostoyevsky, kierkekaard, edith wharton, thackary, goethe, wendell berry, frank o'hara, billy collins, harry potter, phillip pullman, etc, etc!
