To torture a 21st century cliche, I never know what to write here. I'm a pretty easy going person; I enjoy a variety of activities as long as it's with the right person/people. I adore travelling, partially just to escape the harsh winters here, though it offers so much more than that. I have an immense love of the ocean and have learned so much about people from different places and cultures. Thus far most of my travels have been solo or with friends and it would be nice to find someone special to share those experiences with. I stay fit mostly by running. I have done two half-marathons and am planning to do a full one this spring. I value a healthy lifestyle but am far from obsessive about it. I also happen to like beer. So I think it's like anything in life; one needs to find a balance. I am lucky to have fantastic friends and family so I spend a considerable amount of time with them. What makes them so phenomonel is I can leave for months at a time and we just seem to pick up right up where we left off when I return. They were also influential on helping me build a profile. Sometimes it's difficult to know if others see you as you see yourself, so I asked some of my closet friends and family how they would describe me. Several descriptors came up time and again: Outgoing, tenacious, compassionate, fun, honest. Needless to say I was flattered. A great sense of humour is a must! Being from Canada mine involves sarcasm. Some of my favorite comedies include Intolerable Cruelty, The Big Lebowski, Happy Gilmore, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 40 Year Old Virgin, A Fish Called Wanda, well, I could go on but you get the idea. I can't help but wonder if the very name of this site carries certain implications, so I feel compelled to be very clear on a few things. I am not looking to be a kept woman. I have never had a strong desire for a fancy house, expensive car, or designer clothes. I am a low maintenance jeans and t-shirt girl (but not a tom-boy, more like the proverbial girl next door). This isn't to say I don't enjoy dressing up on special occasions, but day to day I prefer comfy clothes. So if you are interested in a trophy wife/girlfriend I am not the woman for you. At his point I'm not sure what else to say. I'm pretty much an open book so anything you want to know just ask.
