I love to hike, run, cycle, snowshoe, snowboard, the outdoors in general. I guess what sets me apart is that I do it all with such enthusiasm! I'm a pretty passionate person and I think that's reflected in nearly everything I do. I like to have fun and make people laugh and have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor - which can get me in to trouble sometimes if you don't get it. I'm actually in the middle of buying a house (duplex really), which is scary because I have a fear of commitment (to a location). I like the idea of being able to just pick up and leave, even if I don't really want or plan to. I like to travel and take as many trips as possible. I haven't done that much international traveling, but the list is growing. I try to go to a lot of games in the summer and really don't know why people think baseball's boring. Okay, I guess I can see why, but I love it. And, it's summer (almost) - which means more hiking. I traveled to Honduras this winter to scuba dive and can't wait to do more international traveling. My dad was in the military growing up so we moved around a lot, which I think has ingrained in me the need to travel and experience other cultures. I love Sushi/shabu shabu, margaritas, chips/guac/salsa, Thai food, New Glarus Spotted Cow (bonus pts if you know what it is), rainy mornings, Sunday morning football, soft bed sheets, Harleys, the sunroof in my truck. You know, the simple pleasures! I have a cat, but I'm not a "cat lady." Unfortunately she is getting old, so I'd appreciate someone who can understand the angst of caring for an ailing animal (in the event she gets sick).
