You could look at me like a M&M. I have a hard candy shell that consists of wit, sarcasm, and humor. I'm a pretty much go with the flow, laid back type of gal. I do tend to speak my mind but I try to do it constructively. The chocolate center is the other side of me that is very honest, caring, and considerate. Yes, I do cry during movies. Yes, I am a sentimental fool. I'm looking for a potential long term relationship with someone who enjoys the outdoors - camping, biking, canoeing, blading, skiing or just hanging out by the water or by a campfire. I'm not into the bar scene although I do enjoy having a drink with friends. I enjoy going out and getting dressed up but I have to admit that I'm not a perfect nails and Coach purse type of person. I'm most comfortable in jeans and a sweatshirt. The ideal person must be able to communicate because that is the cornerstone to any relationship. A sense of humor is also a must because life isn't fun if you are too serious. You must be able to understand that no one is perfect and everyone has a bad day. A relationship isn't just 50/50 but perhaps 60/40 or 40/60 at times in order to be there for the other on those days. I have learned a lot from past relationships and I am willing to put the work into a relationship because often times that is what is needed. It's foolish to think that you can just pair up two strangers and they live happily ever after. It takes time to learn each other and develop a bond. But once it is there, it's something that you can see in their eyes and feel in their touch. I do have a teenage daughter who is very close to me so the potential match must be understanding of the impact that can have on a relationship. She is a great kid and means the world to me but she is a teen and they can be trying at times.
