I dont know how to describe myself, but if you spend an hour with me, here's what you might get: while sharing a dosa, we'll talk about current U. S. health policy, fawn over the bag nicole richie was carrying, laugh hysterically, dissect yet another passage from the prophet from khalil gibran, and ponder black economic empowerment in south africa... I am an open, honest, passionate person. I love life when it is spontaneous and crazy but I also very much appreciate the quiet moments. Traveling and music are my two must-haves. I love anything outdoors whether it be camping, running, kayaking, hiking...whatever. My next love is food. I love trying new restaurants and long dinners with a fabulous bottle of wine. I love meeting new people and would describe myself as outgoing ... I recently gave indoor rock climbing a try, and although I wasn't great at it, would love to keep it up. I also just started taking salsa lessons, and am finding that it is even more fun than I had expected. If you have any skills in either of these two areas and have patience as a teacher, definitely let me know! My favorite music-- oumou sangare, rokia traore, gigi, kemer, lauryn hill, mos def, stevie wonder, michael jackson, al green, fertile ground, john coltrane, ar rahman...etc favorite food--ethiopian, indian, thai, japanese...vegan/vegetarian, healthy. Some of my favorite things include going to the movies, college football, dogs, a hard workout, seeing good stuff at the 9: 30 Club, spontaneity, lounging around, Midwesterners, traveling to foreign lands, cute dresses and reading a good book.
