I love really long days, wearing shorts and sandals, thunder storms. I guess I still feel like I am on summer vacation. Confident, funny, attractive, introspective, down to earth woman seeks someone to share the beautiful days with. I think chemistry is important and makes a relationship exciting, but other things are equally important. Things like having similar interests and values, mutual respect, honesty, and good communication are central for me. My interests include the arts, being outdoors, food, trying new things. In my free time I volunteer, travel, do yoga, cook, and knit. I also like socializing with friends, the theater, movies (particularly independent and foreign films), sporting events, live music. My career is satisfying and I like what I do because at the end of the day I have made a difference in a person?s life. Nothing is more rewarding. I think I am a work in progress, something I find scary and exhilarating. My Favorites is a hard question for me-it's too limiting. I like eating out, independent movies, going on a romantic date, snow days, hanging around DC, walking, yoga, relaxing in front of the TV, live jazz, bluegrass, folk, going to baseball game. I don't like to capitalize. i love to dance; used to teach ballroom and latin classes. i am a huge dork who loves being a teacher and loves reading. i gush over dc's museums. i'm also a huge fan of stand up comedy! I love the beach and wish i was there right now. paris has my heart. my favorite places to hang in the dc metro area include the 930 club, galaxy hut, 18th st lounge, oconnells. I love my independence, my parents, my friends, my career, my cat, jammy pants, hugs, gummi worms, live music, awful reality tv shows.
