I love to hang out at home and relax by my fire pit on the deck reading or working in my vegetable garden. I am a laid back, easygoing kind-of chick and am flexible enough to be ready for an impromptu gathering in no time. I value honesty and consideration for others. I have been known to be honest to the point of bluntness at times, but that's because I don't like games. I love to go to new places and try new things. I LOVE to laugh and do so often. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. I love to make people laugh and will usually have a quick retort to anyone else's sarcasm. I want to stay young at heart till the day I die and try to add a little playfulness to everyday, but I still know how to be serious and presentable. I even did the polar bear plunge this year in to try something new and I LOVED it!! I have been to five countries outside of the US and would love to add more to my list, but I must admit since my son came along my traveling has lessened. I do love to go to NY, though, even if it's just for the day. I am a strong woman seeking a strong man who balances his strength with warmth and compassion. I am also a hopeless romantic and love spontaneity in a relationship. I think surprises are fabulous and certainly add something special to any relationship. Some people say I'm outgoing, but I tend to think of myself as quiet and reserved till I really get to know someone. I definitely have my opinions and, when I feel it's important, will verbalize them. I do know when to keep my trap shut, though. I have a soft heart, but a tough exterior. I value family and spend a lot of time with mine.
