Hi I'm fun, loving and energetic. I''m fairly easy to please. Barbeques, bonfires, good friends, maybe a few drinks all are part of a well rounded lifestyle. I have an open mind to new ideas. I love the outdoors, the country in particular and enjoy spending time at friend's cabins and fishing. Sometimes I go for walks along the dykes with relatives.I've enjoyed watersking, kayaking and boating. I like our varied beaches around the city but especially in Delta. I so like to socialize and am told I am an interesting person- a good conversationalist. I like to write and may write a book someday. My guitar is in use again. I should do something with my music. It was a good pastitme anyways. I like travel both short and long - ask my car how it feels!My village is filled with parades, old car shows and has alot of activities to get involved with. We have a beautiful refuge for birds out here that I enjoy going to having the chickidees eat out of my hand and maybe get sttalked by a male crane. It all makes life interesting. THe best advise I'v had lately is not to have one or tow friends but to have many. Life is going that way and this year I am meeting some good people in my community. Most are sailors as we have plenty of moorage in Ladner. I've thought about liveing on a float home but my next inclination is to find a place in the country to work on porjects with a friend. He wants to build a plane and I want to retrofit a sailboat and check out the possibility of getting a boat for fish for my dad.I am softhearted but not totally nieve. I could do with loosing a few pounds and will my bikes ready probably this weekend. I've been off work for a while and am going back but plan onbeing more self employed in a more lucretive market making more money and doing more of what I enjoy doing which is being on the water - preferably Geargia St. and the Gulf Islands.I come from say an upper middle class faimily who are conservative in nature and I'm a bit that way too. I'm a perfect gentleman and polite. I'm not an agressive person and don't go looking for problems but learn from my lessons and ask God for guideance and help. Whatever you call it self improvement - that I am into as well. Maybe distance doesn't matter so much or it shouldn't but I have some relatives in town I'd like to stay local for. I'm creating a nich for myself by combining all my trades skills , love of the water into buiding boats this sspring as well as keeping my government job. Life is good.
