About me:

was born in Scotland and I always seem to be running late. I am a second year graduate student and that takes up the majority of my time. I like to take walks in the rain and I love thunderstorms. I also am a big nature fan, I love grass and trees and the smell of fresh air. When I am not working in the lab, I am either catching up on sleep or catching up with friends. I can either be outgoing or a homebody depending on the day (and how tired I am). Sarcasm is my friend and if it is not yours I am pretty sure I will offend you (apologies). I am a big fan of Demetri Martin, Nick Swarsdon and Craig Ferguson. Also, Jennifer Saunders is my role model. Needless to say, anyone that can make me laugh is golden in my book. I am also a very big science nerd. I am getting my Ph. D in behavioral neuroscience where I am looking at brain plasticity in a rat model of fetal alcohol syndrome. I love the brain. Its all kinds of awesome. I love to travel to new places and I go home to Europe whenever I can. I love music (all types except country), and I also love to read (classic-nonfiction-fiction-chickn o vels) Some of my favs are Music: anything but country. TV: HIMYM, Heroes, the Office, Gossip Girl, Late Late Show, Scrubs (if I actually have time!) Random: shoe shopping, walks, traveling, comedians, sleep, laughter, smiling, friends, home.
