About me:

I have been told that I am the nicest, most caring person that my friends have ever met. When they have a forbidden secret, they tell me. I want to be that person that you know you can always count on. :) I love kids; over the summer I completed an internship in a children's hospital which required me to help the little ones understand why they are in the hospital and help prepare them for any procedures or medical interventions that they may experience. Probably one of the most influential experiences I've had so far. I love to travel esp. to places I've never been. The most rewarding place I have been to has been Managua,Nicaragua. I spent two weeks there on a mission trip helping in home construction for this wonderful family. There was an orphanage just down the road, so I spent lots of time there, also. Although there was a language barrier, it was almost as if it didn't exist; we just laughed and played like it was nothing :) I also love The Atlantis beaches; so warm and secluded if you venture down far enough. That place is honestly a little slice of Heaven, truly. Reading for fun is something so small, but I love when my imagination and ideas get lost in the pages of a good book. Some of my favorites are The Blackbird Papers and My Sister's Keeper. Meeting new and interesting people is always an adventure. You don't have to be worried that I'll be your shadow at an event or party. No, I can work a room not in a flashy way, but I can hold my own. I'm a pretty easy-going girl who loves just about anything ...Just take everyday as it is given to me, right?! :)
