About me:

I'm a nice, healthy, considerate, generous, good-willed, educated, person. I have a dual personality in that though I am nice and easy going, I and also a hard working, carear minded professional guy.I believe that being able to see the comic side of life is very important. I love to learn and can have serious and intelligent discussions on most subjects, but I think that one should never lose one's sense of humor. I am very "outdoorsy" especially when its nice outside and stay active most of the time, although like anyone, I like to relax at home too. I have been competing in road races and triathlons for many years and even got to compete in the Hawaii Ironman in 2001. I have slowed down in the last 2 years and now only do a few races a year for fun. Skiing is my favorite sport [favorite ski areas: Whistler and Zermatt] and I also like to row on the Potomac [especially in the Fall]. I guess that sounds like a lot, but I like variety. I also enjoy reading and travel. I am looking for someone that is easy to get along with and has a good sense of humor.Favorite foods: Crab Cakes, Thai, Italian [It may change by next week]. Favorite Movies: Apocalypse Now, Gallipoli, City of God, All the Presidents Men, Good Night and Good Luck, Thomas Crown Affair, Life of Brian.
