About me:
I am a Boston transplant living in Chicago. I was transferred 15 years ago and although I root for the Cubs my sports team alliances are still with the Red Sox and the Patriots. Have spent countless hours at Fenway and Foxboro stadium (before it was the Gillette stadium). My friends would say I am the most athletic person they know. I have a gym in my office, I workout almost every day and try to participate in at least two 10Ks a yearâ?¦one in Chicago and one in Boston. Biking is one of my passions and some of my favorite memories include touring the Tour de France on a bike and watching Lance Armstrong with the Tour, touring Bavaria on a bike and going to Oktoberfest. My next international trip will either be Italy or Australia to dive the Great Barrier Reef (I am PADI certified). One of my favorite dives was a night dive in Jamaica. If you havenâ??t done a night dive yet, youâ??re missing out. I love taking spring vacations in the Caribbean to break up the long, cold Midwest winters and I always spend Columbus Day in Boston visiting friends and colleagues. When Iâ??m not working out or traveling, I am a Regional Sales Manager for an IT Security technology company. I currently cover five states and in my prior position I was responsible for a thirteen state territory. That was nuts. I have learned to enjoy the simple things in lifeâ?¦a beautiful sunset, a full moon and the smell of a Star Gazer Lilly. I also like spending time with friends and making the time we spend together special. When my girlfriends visit we have dinner at the Signature Room or Rivaâ??s, picnic at Millennium Park, weâ??ve been to music events including Pat Benatar/Blondie, U2, Train, Black Eyed Peas, Parachute and weâ??ve been to the theatre to see The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, The Hatchback of Notre Dame. Besides Boston, Chicago, Germany and the Caribbean, some of my other favorite places on earth (so far) are Aruba, Marthaâ??s Vineyard & Nantucket, Sonoma California, Sedona, San Antonio, San Franciscoâ?¦just to name a few.
