About me:

I am originally from the Midwest (Illinois) where I earned a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. But don't worry, as my creative and playful sides upstage my technical nature. I am family oriented and well grounded, but dreaming is not a challenge for me. I am an extrovert, but definitely enjoy my quiet time to reflect. I have a "reflective" type A personality. I like all sports, but especially beach volleyball, weight training, and rollerblading. I love to sing and write music/lyrics, it's good for the soul! I love great discussions on anything, musicals, movies, dancing, motorcycle rides along the coast, reading a good book at the dog beach while my "son" Apollo is playing, and blading with Apollo in the park across the street from my house at the LA/OC border. I love conceiving and developing new products and concepts, which is what I do for a living and as a hobby. It provides a tremendous amount of enjoyment for me, not to mention a partnership and some patents. Travel in Asia has accompanied my business and has allowed me to view the country of China in a happy transition to a more open market economy, and to experience all the changes in life philosophy and thought that coincide with it. An even though their economy has been affected also, there are still many smiling faces in China : ) Here are a few of my favorite things; listening to music, tea, playing my keyboard, singing while driving (I have not had a accident yet). I have several hobbies and I love to work with my hands, Any chocolate desert, and Sushi.
