I love all the usual stuff - movies (difficult dramas like Requiem for a Dream to chick flicks like Love Actually), music (especially live music - saw Coldplay, Patty Griffin, Elvis Costello, Eddie Vedder and the Indigo Girls this summer), restaurants (fancy shmancy to hole in wall), cooking with/for friends (sometimes the simple things are the best), museums, theater, you get the picture. I also apparently really like parenthesis. I can hold my own in a tennis game, ride my bike sometimes when it is easier to drive, know how to hold a a golf club and am signed up for the Army 10 miler this fall. A good book outside on a beautiful day or a glass of wine around a campfire are lovely things but are about as outdoorsy as I get. Overall, I am a generally happy person and tend to think that things will all work out in the end. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and like someone who can hold their own in the witty banter department. I value friends above all else, think honesty is the only policy and can sometimes be too direct for my own good. I am usually smiling and love striking up conversations with complete strangers. My perfect day is to hit the farmers market, pick out lots of yummy things, spend the afternoon cooking and then a fun dinner party with good friends. Add red wine to the whole mix and I am set. I love pizza, but it blows the diet. But if I workout hard, I'll enjoy a slice. I like Matchbox & ZPizza. I love Bloomies and Sak's, and I love discounts, whereever they may be. :)
